TERRA Education III: Instructions for posters

Authors who have been selected to realize a poster are asked to send them, in PDF format, to the following email address: terraeducation2018@gmail.com , by May 1st, 2018 last deadline.

If the Scientific Committee deems it necessary, posters will be returned to their authors with recommendations and suggestions for last revision and final posters will be returned by the deadline of May 15th, 2018.

A mandatory Poster template (Powerpoint) is made available online here by the organization, as well as framework guidelines and poster examples (Document from the TERRA 2016 congress where posters were based on the same structure): download here.

Poster guidelines

The posters will include:

  • The title of the poster.
  • The name/s of author/s and their institutional affiliations.

The content of the posters will be developed over a maximum of 750 to 1000 words, with:

  • A summary (150 to 200 words)
  • An introduction (150 to 200 words)
  • Activities and pedagogical methods (150 to 200 words)
  • Results (150 to 200 words)
  • Conclusions (lessons learnt, future perspectives…) (150 to 200 words)
  • The number of illustrations is at the discretion of the authors

DO NOT FORGET TO INDICATE THE REFERENCE NUMBER THAT WAS ASSIGNED TO YOU BY THE SEMINAR ORGANIZATION.

Printing and exhibition of posters

Posters will be printed and brought by their authors for their exhibition held at the beginning of the seminar. You will have the possibility to exhibit them on site by July 4th, from 8h30 a.m., with the help of a devoted team.

Posters will be printed in color, in A1 landscape format, at the dimensions of 841 mm x 594 mm or 0.84 m x 0.60 m. The printing will respect the template and guidelines (character and front size for headings, text and captions) which are specified in the downloadable documents above.

Posters will be printed on a semi rigid white matt coated paper, 160 gr. / m2, non-glossy and non-plasticized. Their hanging will be done with double-side tape on the cymas.

The printing of the posters is charged to the authors.

Posters will also be valorized on the events ’website.

REGISTRATION OF AUTHORS TO THE SEMINAR IS A REQUIREMENT FOR THE EXHIBITION OF THE POSTERS.
