Seminar June 4th-5th > Proposed activitiesProposed activities in the margins of the seminar MONDAY June 4th, 2018, 06.30 pm VISIT OF THE PROTOTYPE TERRA NOSTRATerra Nostra is a prototype of a participatory and eco-friendly habitat, mainly built with wood and earth. It was designed and built by the students of the Team Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, gathering the Grands Ateliers, the Schools of Architecture of Grenoble and Lyon and Universities like IUT1 of Grenoble and other high schools like ENSASE, ENTPE, INSA, ENSE3 and the AFPA. These students were accompanied by a pluridisciplinary team composed of teachers, searchers, architects, engineers, technicians and builders. After being exposed in Lyon, the prototype is installed in Grenoble since 2016, in the heart of the ZAC Flaubert, under a partnership between the Grenoble School of Architecture (ENSAG) and the SPL SAGES (urban planner of the Flaubert district). Its vocation is to be a pedagogical tool and an animation and consultation support for this district in full change. THURSDAY June 5th, 2018, 06.00 pm ANNIVERSARY OF THE MAISON EN TERRE & LAUNCH OF THE PROJECT e-CoLoS! At the Grenoble Alpes University. The teachers-researchers of the Grenoble campus always have shown the willingness to teach sustainability of constructions through active pedagogies. That is why, since 1986, architecture students and civil engineering technicians could build the « maison en terre » in 24 hours, in preparation of the International year of housing for the homeless of the United Nations. Linked to this, the e-CoLoS! Project will be officially launched on June 5th, focusing on strengthening training programs from the point of view of the sustainability of the buildings. The project e-CoLoS! Federates the Civil Engineering sector of PhITEM UGA, together with the Grenoble School of Architecture (ENSAG), and the 'IUT GCCD, two IDEFI (ENEPS and amàco), and one EQUIPEX (Amiqual4home -ANR-11-EQPX-0002), and finally the international innovative Master international «Building & Architectural Engineering» of the Politecnico di Milano (Lecco campus).
